The Legal 500 highlighted some of the clinical negligence team’s work, including that it:
- negotiated a settlement of £20,000 in a complicated negligent hernia operation case
- dealt with a complex claim with jurisdictional difficulties against Optical Express, where the client had not given adequate consent to LASIK monovision surgery
- negotiated a settlement of £200,000 in a complex case of negligent laparoscopic gallbladder surgery which led to severe complications
- won a case where delay in treating carcinoma of the thumb led to amputation being necessary
- dealt with a claim for a personal representative whose father died following an RTA where the defendant failed to recognize significant thoracic aortic injury
