The year has finished with partners and staff donating gifts to Hallam FM’s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas campaign and donning their finest Christmas wear on Christmas Jumper Day. Graysons has participated in both of these events for several years – with some very interesting attire on show over the years – and is happy to help ensure that disadvantaged children across the region who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or other needs, get a present on Christmas day – this year donating five large bags of gifts.
Over the year, the firm has given substantial support to a variety of events, including:
- Sheffield’s Art in the Gardens
- Ashgate Hospice Butterfly Appeal
- Tala Lee Turton’s ‘parler femme’ at Sheffield Theatres
- Fame, Fashion and Fortune touring exhibition held at Sheffield Cathedral
- Longshaw Sheepdog Trials
- Chesterfield FC Community Award
- Shirebrook’s memorial to the fallen
- Sheffield Young Artists
- Hathersage gala
In addition to these events, we have held raffles, run, walked, baked, donned our jeans and made various donations to events such as Ashgate’s Sparkle Walk, Sheffield Legal Walk, Turkish earthquake appeal, the Samaritans and Derbyshire Asbestos Support Team – and we are proud to have raised over £3,000 with these events.
Graysons’ managing partner, Peter Clark, says:
“As a firm which has been present in the community for almost 100 years, we have always been keen to get involved with local projects. I am delighted that our staff have continued to take part in so many events this year.”
