We are delighted to announce that Graysons Solicitors has been recommended in the Legal 500 2022.

Legal 500

Our family, personal injury and medical negligence teams have been recommended for several years and have achieved the accolade again this year.  In addition, our private client team has been newly recommended for its work in personal tax, trusts and probate.

As well as recommending legal teams, the Legal 500 also offers ‘recommended lawyer’ status to individual lawyers within those teams, based on comments, such as those shown below, from clients and fellow professionals.

Bradie Pell, partner and head of the family team is said to be “strong, which ensured that my case was also strong.” Bradie “listened to my continuing ordeal, but kept everything focused, especially when it mattered.” The client said that Bradie ensured that the outcome “came good in the end” and gave the client “the opportunity to start again, be confident in what I do, and move forward in my life.”

Nicola Cancellara, family solicitor, was “excellent in dealing with my divorce, in terms of clear advice, timely support, flexible in her availability and clear instructions.”

Anne Rogers, partner and head of the private client team, leads a team that includes senior private client advisors, Chris Shaw and Laura Cowan and “has a strong track record of work on high value and complex estate administration”.  Anne is known for her “calm and efficient manner” and “is totally dedicated to client service of the highest standard.”.

Other clients said that they have “absolute confidence in the (private client) team’s abilities” and that “Chris Shaw shows great attention to detail, knowledge of his specialisms, good contacts outside Graysons and an excellent clarity of thought and expression.”

Carol Simpson, partner and head of the medical negligence team, is said to be “a good head of department, dealing with a caseload including difficult and complex matters, and doing so effectively.”

Medical negligence solicitor, Nikki Yavari, is praised for being “thoughtful, thorough and capable of handling complex cases, including fatal claims.”

Peter Clark, managing partner of Graysons and head of the firm’s litigation departments, leads a team that is particularly highly regarded for its “expertise in disease matters such as mesothelioma” and also “handles asbestos-related concerns and issues connected to industrial deafness”.  These cases are handled by partner, Belinda Lancaster, who is recommended as “very efficient and never overcomplicates cases.”

 Peter says:

“The Legal 500 is an accolade that gives testament to the expertise of our lawyers and to the high quality of service that we continue to offer.  I am delighted for our teams and the individuals who have been recommended this year and thank them for their exceptional effort and dedication to their work. I would particularly like to congratulate our private client team for their achievement in obtaining recommendation.  I’d like to thank our clients and peers for their fantastic comments, all of which have enabled us to maintain our recommendations and achieve a new one in 2022.”

The Legal 500 is the leading guide to law firms and solicitors in the UK and worldwide. It carries out detailed research and interviews with clients and peers before making its recommendations.
