We are delighted to announce that Megan Wroe, who works in our family law team, has qualified as a solicitor.

Megan joined Graysons in August 2017 and has undertaken her training contract with us. She qualified from Sheffield Hallam University in 2016 with a first-class degree in law.  She was also the winner of the Graysons’ Family Law Award, after gaining the highest mark in the family module of her degree.

Megan has been able to give something back to Sheffield Hallam University since she graduated.  On a couple of occasions, she has joined Graysons’ family law team who have made presentations to final year law students about their career choices and the paths they took to achieve their own vocations.

Megan says:

“I have always wanted to pursue a career in family law. I find the challenge of the work and the fact that every case is different particularly appealing, and I really enjoy the interaction with clients. I am grateful to Graysons for offering me the opportunity to qualify and look forward to continuing to work with the family law team here.”

Megan deals with divorce, small to medium financial matters, cohabitation disputes, children matters and injunctions, as well as drafting and advising on separation agreements.

In her spare time, Megan has a keen interest in keeping fit, and has enthusiastically joined Graysons’ staff at several events to raise money for charity.  This has included helping the team to raise £1,700 for Breast Cancer Now in the Tour de Law challenge, running in Bluebell Wood’s 5k colour dash around Rother Valley Country Park and abseiling down the 113 foot Monsal Head viaduct in aid of Cavendish Cancer Care.
