Laura Cowan

Laura Cowan, head of the private client team, and Jane Cooper, who manages the firm’s personal injury team, have both been given senior roles after building distinguished careers and establishing themselves as leading specialists in their respective fields.

Laura Cowan joined Graysons in 2019 and has 25 years’ experience advising individuals and families on wills, probate, estate administration, Court of Protection matters and lasting powers of attorney. A chartered legal executive, she is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a member of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly Solicitors for the Elderly) and recognised by The Legal 500. Away from work, Laura is also Chair of Sheffield SANDS, a stillbirth and neonatal death charity.

Jane Cooper

Jane Cooper started with the firm in December 2021 and has specialised exclusively in claimant personal injury law for more than 30 years and is recognised by The Legal 500 for her expertise. She has represented clients in complex cases involving serious injury and is an occupational injury claim specialist.  She has, for many years, been a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and prior to working with Graysons, worked with major national firms specialising in personal injury cases.
