The event transformed the Botanical Gardens into a huge open-air gallery for its 23rd year, bringing together hundreds of artists and makers and attracting bumper crowds across Saturday and Sunday following Friday night’s special preview evening.

Organisers reported record sales from the popular Open Art Exhibition, underlining the success of a weekend which showcased paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, glass, textiles, photography and other work from artists across the city and wider region.

Graysons Solicitors returned as Premier Sponsor for the eighth consecutive year and once again staged its popular Children’s Art Competition, which attracted bumper entries from young visitors throughout the weekend.

Graysons’ involvement in the arts extends beyond Art in the Gardens. The firm has supported creative talent including Sheffield Young Artists and acclaimed ballet dancer Tala Lee-Turton and continues its partnership with Sheffield illustrator Alan Pennington, who joined the Graysons team at this year’s event.
 
The company also sponsored the first ever HeART of Ashgate event at Chesterfield’s Ashgate Hospice last month.
