Ian Cottam

Ian is our senior probate manager.  He joined Graysons in July 2018 to head up the firm’s probate and trust team.

A highly experienced trust and probate practitioner, Ian specialises in probate and trust administration work and accounting work.  He has many years’ experience in his field and has been a fully qualified member (TEP) of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP) – the global professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning – since 2013.

Ian brings with him expertise in dealing with complex and high net work estates that include businesses and overseas assets.   He has previously worked for a number of top tier Legal 500 firms – including one in Belgravia, central London, where he headed up the probate/estate administration department.
