Major highlights have included the firm’s continued premier sponsorship of Art in the Gardens, its work with the Mother and Daughter Breast of Friends podcast and the National Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline, and its backing for a range of arts, community and charity initiatives across the region.
The newly unveiled Christmas illustration – featured on the firm’s seasonal cards and communications – acts as a final celebration of the centenary year, acknowledging the many partnerships and projects the firm has helped support.
Peter Clark, managing partner at Graysons, said:
“The region’s cultural and charitable communities are central to the life of the city, and we have been proud to play our part during this special year for our firm. From supporting the work of Wendy Watson and Becky Measures through the Breast of Friends podcast and the Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline, to championing creativity through Art in the Gardens, it has been a privilege to stand alongside so many inspiring people and organisations. Our Christmas artwork is a small gesture of thanks to everyone we’ve worked with during our centenary.”
The firm’s sponsorship of Art in the Gardens saw record attendance and strong engagement from young artists through Graysons’ popular children’s art competition. The firm also supported a range of community and heritage events across Sheffield and the wider region, including Penistone Agricultural Show, Longshaw Sheepdog Trials and creative projects such as the acclaimed chimeras performance at London Fashion Week, produced by and featuring local contempory dance director Tala Lee Turton.
Graysons additionally provided ongoing support to Chesterfield charity Ashgate Hospice, and additional support to the town’s George Stephenson bicentenary celebrations – reflecting the firm’s wider regional commitment.
This year’s Christmas artwork was created by Sheffield artist Alan Pennington.
