Graysons ensures lasting tributes with the return of Forget-Me-Not

When the opportunity came up to play a leading role in Ashgate Hospice’s newest appeal, Graysons was only too pleased to help.

Graysons is honoured to return as sponsor of the Forget-Me-Not Appeal which is unveiled at Renishaw Hall this week.

Limited-edition flowers are forming a display which runs until June 26th within the grounds of the stately home.

Peter Clark, managing partner at Graysons, said:

“COVID caused unbelievable pain keeping loved ones apart and robbing them of their chance to say their final goodbyes and this appeal provided a unique way for donors to pay a lasting tribute to loved ones. We were only too happy to back it as it returned for its second year in the breath-taking surroundings of Renishaw Hall.”

Graysons has supported the exemplary work of Ashgate Hospice in many different ways over the years. We have provided drop-in clinics to give advice on wills and powers of attorney and participated in fundraising events for the charity, including abseiling at Millers Dale Head.

Jack Wood, head of fundraising at Ashgate Hospice said:

“We’re so grateful to have Graysons Solicitors on board supporting as our main sponsor this year. The team at Graysons have been committed supporters of Ashgate over the years and we’re so happy they’ve chosen to sponsor our Forget-Me-Not Appeal!

Without support from Graysons and our other sponsors, we simply wouldn’t be able to make our events anywhere near as successful as they are, which ultimately means we couldn’t provide our vital care for families across North Derbyshire.”

A Forget-Me-Not Flower can be dedicated to anyone; they don’t need to have accessed the services of Ashgate Hospice.

Supporters can visit the display for free from Wednesday 15th June to Sunday 19th June and between Wednesday 22nd June and Sunday 26th June.

Last year’s appeal raised £117,300 towards care for patients and family at the hospice.
