Some of Team Graysons enjoying Tour de Law
The event, which took place from 6am on Monday 11th October to 6am on Sunday 17th October, saw 10 of Graysons’ staff pushed to their very limits to cycle as many kilometres as possible to raise money for this fantastic charity – Breast Cancer Now. Going head-to-head with a further 52 law firms nationally, Team Graysons is absolutely delighted to have come second, cycling 2909.14 kilometres.
Participants chose to ride their bikes out on the roads or stay at home or in a gym and use a static bike. Team Graysons pulled out all the stops with a fantastic second place and certainly deserves congratulations, but we owe a special mention to team leader and personal injury executive, Joshua Davies and family paralegal, Philippa Smith, who finished second and third out of 200 participants. Joshua cycled 708.6 kilometres and Philippa was just behind, having cycled 676 kilometres.
Team leader, Joshua said: “It was probably one of the most physically and mentally demanding challenges of our lives. Cycling nearly 3000 kilometres between ten of us isn’t the easiest thing to do and you really have to push yourself to keep going. We all gave it everything to raise as much money for the charity as we could – whilst trying to win the distance competition of course! We are very proud of ourselves and that our efforts raised so much more than our target of £1,000 for Breast Cancer Now.
