When the opportunity arose to play a leading role in Ashgate Hospice’s latest appeal, Graysons was only too pleased to help.

Graysons is honoured to partner with Ashgate Hospice as sponsor of the Butterfly Appeal – following two years as sponsor of the successful Forget Me Not Appeals staged at Chatsworth in 2021 and Renishaw Hall in 2022.

Hundreds of butterflies will go on display in memory of loved ones as part of a stunning exhibition at picturesque Chatsworth between 23rd May and 12th June.

Peter Clark, managing partner at Graysons, said:

“This appeal started three years ago as a result of COVID keeping loved ones apart and robbing them of a chance to say their final goodbyes. It allowed donors to pay a lasting tribute to loved ones. It proved so popular that it is now in its third year and we are honoured to support it once again.”

Graysons has supported the exemplary work of Ashgate Hospice in many different ways over the years.

It has provided drop in clinics and seminars to give advice on wills and powers of attorney.

Graysons’ staff have also participated in a range of fundraising events for the charity.

Jack Wood, Head of Fundraising at Ashgate Hospice, said:

“We’re delighted to be back at Chatsworth this Spring for our brand new Butterfly Appeal – and so grateful that Graysons will be supporting us once again. It’s been a real pleasure working with a company like Graysons that is absolutely dedicated to giving back to its local community.

We invite Graysons customers, our supporters and everyone else to dedicate a beautiful butterfly in memory of their loved ones, whilst helping us fund vital care for families across North Derbyshire.

Supporters can dedicate a keepsake butterfly – handcrafted by a local artist– to their loved ones in return for a suggested donation of £25, which will help fund the hospice’s care for families across North Derbyshire.

To dedicate a butterfly visit www.ashgatehospice.org.uk/butterfly-appeal or call Ashgate Hospice’s fundraising team on 01246 567250.
