We were delighted to hear the news that Sheffield City Council had decided to stage Art in the Gardens this year following a time of great uncertainty.
Last year was our first as premier sponsors and it was an honour for Graysons to return in 2020.
Peter Clark, managing partner at Graysons, said:
“We have a keen interest in the cultural life of Sheffield and it was reassuring to help bring some normality back to the arts world at an event that was completely sold out.”
Graysons invited guests to enjoy the preview evening and had a strong presence throughout the weekend.
Scores of kids entered the Graysons’ art competition and the complimentary goodies produced in partnership with local artist Alan Pennington – the illustrator responsible for the striking images on our office walls – were very well received.
We were also delighted to see our participation in Art in the Gardens highlighted in the local press. Peter said:
“It was an unexpected surprise to pick up this month’s unLtd business magazine and see our efforts to help bring normality back to the arts world featured! (Click here to read the article.)
Our return as premier sponsor of Art in the Gardens was covered as part of the article which talked about how the events industry was trying to recover from the devastating impact of the pandemic.
We were determined to carry on the sponsorship that Graysons started in 2019. We have a keen interest in the art and the cultural life of our great city and we will do all we can to help us get through the on-going crisis.
We’re also the new sponsor of Sheffield Young Artists 2021 and regularly work with Alan Pennington.”
