Coronavirus / COVID-19 update

Following the Government’s relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions, we have reviewed our office and client service arrangements.

We continue to operate a COVID safe working environment at our offices with appropriate arrangements for clients and visitors.

Our office facilities permit us to work safely from the office with appropriate distancing measures in place. We have dedicated client and visitor facilities separate from our working areas enabling us to safeguard clients and visitors in accordance with accepted COVID safe procedures.

Although our office facilities for staff are COVID safe, we have Solicitors, Executives and Paralegals working from home with access to the office on a rota basis as necessary and appropriate to deliver client service.

When working from home, our Solicitors, Executives and Paralegals have telephone, email and video conferencing facilities available to them and have full access to our computer case management systems and can manage client cases accordingly.

Direct dial and email addresses will reach our Solicitors, Executives and Paralegals when working remotely/from home. Clients are encouraged to use these contact arrangements for their own convenience and to assist the person dealing with their case.

Our offices are open to clients and visitors for pre booked COVID safe appointments. These can be arranged as and where required. Likewise, home visits and out of office appointments can be arranged where necessary and in circumstances where alternative methods of communication are not available or suitable. In those circumstances, our staff will observe COVID safe procedures.
Our intention is to be available to clients and business associates whilst continuing for the time being to limit numbers of staff in the offices at any given time and to maintain the COVID safe procedures already in place. If clients have any particular concerns or safety requirements, these can be discussed prior to appointments being arranged and appropriate facilities can be confirmed.

The managers of our office building in Sheffield are maintaining their own COVID safe procedures. This means that the building reception is not open for “walk ins”. Clients and visitors identifying themselves as having an appointment will be admitted to the building and may come directly to our reception or alternatively will be met by a member of our staff.
Although Government restrictions have been lifted, we are leaving our Coronavirus/COVID-19 menu in place on our website as this includes helpful updates regarding provision of services and how these can be accessed.

We are grateful to clients and business colleagues for their understanding and support during the various periods of Government restrictions. We are pleased that the lifting of restrictions permits us to offer our services normally, but as indicated we will do so in ways that are consistent with COVID safety.
