Anne Rogers further information

Last updated on August 13th, 2019 at 12:20 pm

Anne has over ten years’ experience of dealing with wills, estate administration and elderly client services.  Anne regularly handles large and complex estates, including cases involving business and agricultural property, taxable estates, missing beneficiaries and family disputes.  She also deals with lasting powers of attorney, applications to the Court of Protection, trusts, inheritance tax planning – including advising on how giving gifts affects inheritance tax, and care fee planning.

She has particular expertise in helping businesses ensure continuity by advising on and drafting business wills and business lasting powers of attorney.

Typically, around 60% of Anne’s time is spent dealing with complex probate and trust issues and around 20% of her time dealing with wills and lasting powers of attorney.  The rest of her time is spent supervising other staff in her department.

Her empathy and ability to understand clients’ difficulties make Anne a popular choice for people who are dealing with sensitive issues at vulnerable times.  She helps clients who want to write a will in a hospital or a hospice when they are close to the end of life (commonly known as death bed wills), helps people administer estates when a member of their family has died and advises sympathetically regarding the protection that lasting powers of attorney offers.

Anne is a member of our private wealth team.
