Lucy joined Graysons in 2007. She is a solicitor and legal executive in our personal injury department. She is also a team leader. Lucy became a partner at Graysons in November 2016.
Lucy first qualified as a chartered legal executive in 2006 and then went on to undertake her Legal Practice Course at the University of York, qualifying as a solicitor in 2009.
Having specialised in personal injury work since 2001, Lucy has dealt with a varied caseload including accidents at work, public liability claims and road traffic accident claims which have included fast-track and multi-track cases.
Some of her cases have been heavily reported in the press, including a case where, in 2011, Lucy acted for a boy who was attacked by another pupil at Maltby Academy and was successful in securing compensation from Rotherham Borough Council for breach of statutory duty and negligence. Lucy has also successfully secured £420,000.00 compensation for a claimant who sustained severe injuries to his ankle as a result of an accident at work.
Lucy is a practitioner member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
