Debbie is a chartered legal executive who joined our personal injury department in June 2015.
She has 15 years experience of dealing with personal injury cases. She started her legal career as soon as she left school as a junior in a personal injury department. Progressing quickly, she the moved into legal secretarial work and on to be a paralegal in 2000. Debbie undertook her Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) studies whilst gaining invaluable practical experience handling personal injury cases and she qualified as a chartered legal executive in 2005.
She enjoys the diversity of her work and handles a wide variety of personal injury cases, including employer liability, public liability, road traffic accidents, catastrophic injury and head injury. Some of her most notable cases have included winning £4.2 million and £2.4 million in compensation for 2 clients who suffered head injuries. She has also won £1.2 million compensation for someone who had a partial amputation following a motorbike accident and £15,000 for a child who suffered a serious arm injury in a soft play area.
Debbie is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
When not at work, Debbie enjoys playing badminton and other sports and often takes part in the Race for Life.
