Buying, selling and moving homes in the Coronavirus outbreak

At Graysons we understand that moving house can be a stressful time. In the current situation, we will do everything we can to help you complete your move within the government guidelines.

How will the guidelines affect your move?

The government is asking home buyers to delay moving into a new house whilst the stay at home measures are in place.

If you had planned to move into an occupied home during this time, Graysons will support you in securing an extended timescale and alternative date for exchange and completion. If you have already exchanged contracts and moving is unavoidable you must follow the guidance on social distancing.

You can find more information on these measures here > https://www.gov.uk/guidance/government-advice-on-home-moving-during-the-coronavirus-covid-19-outbreak

If the house, you are moving into is unoccupied you will be able to continue with the move and Graysons will continue to help you with the process.

Graysons Solicitors has been supporting families since 1925. During this period of uncertainty, we will do everything we can to make everything go as smoothly as possible for you and to protect your position if an extended timescale for your transaction is unavoidable
