Each year, Graysons’ partners and staff join together to raise money for charities and local organisations that are close to their hearts. 2018 was no exception, with the team working harder than ever to raise the money.
Of course, we thoroughly enjoyed running, abseiling, cycling, having paint thrown over us, baking, dressing up and decorating ourselves with jewels – which were just some of the activities that we tried out during the year. It was all for very good causes, and we are delighted to have been able to make donations to a variety of very worthy causes, including:
- Cavendish Cancer Care
- Bluebell Wood Hospice
- Sport Relief
- St Luke’s Hospice
- Ashgate Hospicecare
- Whirlow Hall Farm
- Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind
- Jeans for Genes
- MacMillan Cancer Support
- MIND
- Children in Need
- Mesothelioma UK
We also donated our will writing services free of charge to people who were able to make a bequest in their will to various charities; collected toys and gifts for Hallam FM’s Mission Christmas, which were distributed to children in the area who would not otherwise have got a gift on Christmas Day, and collected enough food for the Rotherham Foodbank to distribute 122 meals to those who are in need.
