Sandra Russell

Sandra is a graduate of Sheffield University and qualified as a solicitor in 1994. She has been practicing family law ever since, so is a highly experienced member of our team. She rejoined Graysons WE in 2011 as a partner, having previously worked here as a solicitor between 2005-2008. Sandra is a specialist family lawyer and deals with all aspects of divorce and separation as well as injunctions and disputes between unmarried couples.

Sandra is an accredited member of Resolution, a national body which recognises specialist knowledge in areas of family law such as finance and domestic violence. Resolution members also follow a Code of Conduct which deals with cases in a non-adversarial way.

Sandra’s specialism, however, is dealing with property and financial disputes arising from marriage breakdown or separation. Her portfolio of work includes high asset cases and consideration of business wealth. Sandra is also a collaboratively trained lawyer. Collaboration is fundamentally changing the way people think about family law. For couples who genuinely seek a fair solution, it usually offers the best way forward as issues are resolved face-to-face at ‘four-way meetings’ without ever needing to go to Court.
