Janet qualified at Sheffield University with an LLB (Hons) and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personal Injury Litigation. 

As a solicitor she has over 20 years experience handling a caseload of exclusively claimant personal injury cases.  She has been a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel continuously since the date of its inception and is an accredited litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
