The Land Registry is a government department which looks after the register of all registered properties in England and Wales. It charges a fee for transferring the register to the new owner. A charge is levied according to the property price.
SDLT is a tax on transactions relating to UK land and buildings. A percentage is charged according to the property price.
A pack provided by sellers which contains information to the buyers about the property. It contains details of the title to the property, local and water searches, details of the leasehold (if applicable) and an energy certificate.
