Graysons solicitors has vast experience of acting for Local Authorities in care, adoption and related proceedings. We have undertaken many agency matters of behalf of Local Authorities and other solicitors.

As a result of our specialist knowledge and experience, we have built a reputation for high quality advice and representation in children matters.

Liz Newbold, Head of the Child Care Division has worked as a solicitor for Local Authorities for over 16 years (Sheffield, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Councils). She was also legal adviser to Derbyshire Adoption Panel and advised Social Services Management on all issues relating to care and provision of care for children.

Pat Wotherspoon has similar experience working for a number of Local Authorities and Helen Alder before qualifying as a solicitor was a Social Worker.
